Of course Achim was lucky to find these two leopard but the luck is not enought and when you are given such lights, getting a good result is very very difficult. I was in Tanzania in May and had a meeting with a leopard in similar poor lighting conditions, and I persist to say that Achim did a very good job in post-processing this scene. For me his picture is a lesson that I'll remember in front of all my next sunsets : "integrate the fact that you can post-process, it gives new oportunities...". This is what Master Achim taught us with this marvelous picture ;-)

I never tried to photograph lightning because I live in the center of Frankfurt am Main (ground floor) and there is not enough sky to see between the houses, when there is a thunderstorm.

I have just returned from the Drakensberg Mountains on holliday and I was lucky enough to get a few pics of a vulture. Bloody strange bird and trying to take a photo of these birds in flight was difficult especially due to the fact that the sun was above and effecting the lightling.

I was too scared to photograph the lightning on holliday as we were high up and I quite like living, dying I plan to do in many years time!

I am off to the Caribean again in February and will take some pics during my stay.

@Ceks - I was not so near to these two beautiful cats, the did not even notice us (I think they where mating). I took the picture with a 300mm tele lens (* 1,6 crop factor) and I did not use any flash. I NEVER use flash when taking pictures of animals. Greetings to Slovenia, Achim
