Happy memories of going for a walk down to Cressington with my mother and brother, taking the binoculars to check out the landscape, particularly trying to make out the 'other side of the Mersey.'

In case you're wondering, the vicious looking thorns are blackthorn, which is the bush you get sloe berries from, to make sloe gin!
