This is a beauty of a photo. Nice work Jock. Looks like a mark 1..
Hells bells, they selected it! Just enough of the surrounds to get away with it I guess. Thanks for that Lex. Afraid I'm not up on my tanks, although I found a good site on tank id a few days back. I'll check it out later.
Battle of the Tank pic's! ;-)
Yours has a spiffy new paint job, mine was faded and chipped. Thats why I ended up doing a black and white photo.
Again you 2 (Jock & Henry) have sweet tanks in your neighborhoods to take pics of and I dont.. :(
Nice shot Jock
Ah well, I'm cheating a bit Henry, because the Oz defence force has only relatively recently canned the Leopard so they still look ok. You might still be able to gloat because I'm pretty cert we've relaced them with......Abrams! Thanks for the Lk.
Now c'mon GG, you've got all that fine vintage artillery down there. Those shorty six inch ex-naval guns are pure history. The Brit navy stopped using them in the 1890s. They're rare as rocking horse poo in Oz. I just wish they were closer to here.
Thank you Marion. Probably not your choicest subject, but...it's pretty.....isn't it? ;-]]] Regards, Jock.
Johnny, thank you. All the best, Jock.
Echeveria, many thanks for the kind comment, Lk and visit. Best wishes, Jock.
Oby go nigdy już nie użyto!!!!!LIKE.Pozdrawiam ,Janusz
No risk there Janusz. It is past its use-by date..
Thanks for the Lk. All the best, Jock.
Yea that's right Jock, all that 1890s stuff even has me interested!!
Enthusiasm for machines of mayhem.. it's a boy thing.
Oh yes, I think you're right there Jock :) Again.
Looks like you boys are getting a Leopard Tank collection here!!
Please don't suggest another group :-0
Na, I'm not really into tanks myself Jock :-)))
