Hi Lex,

I am amazed by this! I suppose being so exposed to the winds off the ocean drifts like this can build up, and obviously great fun had by all getting the bike up there! Great picture of the achievement!

Best Wishes Peter

Greetings Peter. Thanks for finding one of my older photos. Yes the winds certainly move a great quantity of sand, they continue to creep inland by some metres each year.

Antonio Zayas on February 10

Wonderful place, wonderful pic... but I'm a bit sad that the biker destroid that precious dune.

GasGasL€X on February 11

Antonio, I'm pleased you like the image but how has the "Biker destroid (sic) the precious dune"???. Sounds like an emotive uninformed view of the work of nature.. By the next day the wind has eroded all traces of any bike tracks. ..

norti biker :o)

GasGasL€X on February 16

Yeah Derek, Pffffttt!. 4x4 drivers destroiy the environment but out here a trailbikers tracks are gone within hours with all the coastal breezes

OH! don't get me started on those mongrels!! I found a great place for photos at James Price Point, north of Broome but who had got there before me and left nice wide, deep tracks in the sand...
