Beautiful light again. Has to be a Y* Jim. (Incidentally, if you'd had a few it would be easy to end-up saying "Desk on the Usk". Sorry! Hic!).

Best wishes, Brian.

mick a~~~Thanks Mick, This was my first attempt at low light photography so you can imagine how surprised and pleased I was at the result!

Diggory Venn~~~Great to see you Digg :) Send my warm regards an d a big hug to Mrs Digg

brian01~~~~Sober up there Brian :)) Much appreciated, both joke and lovely compliment. I am still a believer in using the Y* sparingly and I suspect you do too!

To you all, I express my sincere thanks for your visits, your kind appraisals and precious comments!

Kind regards!

Judging by the number of 'favourites' I get, Jim, it seems most people agree with you! No, seriously, I myself agree with you in principle. I hate it when a photo of mine is rubbish and I know I should have deleted it long ago but I get a Y, for whatever dubious reason. Thankfully, that doesn't happen very often. (All my photos are brilliant). I used to worry that I was devaluing the Y and handing out too many. But then I thought, no, I'm not here to judge the technical qualities or whatever of a photo. If, for me, it has that X-factor that puts it a cut above the average AND it has something I really like very much, then I'm only too pleased to give a Y* as recognition. Many an evening I sit down for a couple of hours and have a great time viewing my favourites. Sorry this is so long-winded, Jim. As usual, I got carried away. What it boils down to, I'm sure, is that we both agree!

Bye for now, Brian.
