Hi Palmina and Hank. Thanks for the visit. This orchard belonged to my great-uncle Bill. In it he grew world-renowned apples winning prizes at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto and, in 1911, taking 11 of 13 prizes at the Crystal Palace in England. Also, I believe a box of his macintosh apples was presented to Queen Elizabeth II. Unfortunately, because of 'progress', the orchard no longer exists as it once was.

Hi, Julie. Thanks. I had to re-read the family history to get some of the details. I took this when Uncle Bill was still alive and his orchard was a working one.
