Fantastic set of shots of the Beacons on what looks like a perfect day, the visibility is amazing with Fan Gyhirych and the Carmarthen Fans (Black Mountain) clearly visible in the distance.

Your marker is a bit too far down the North East ridge, so I'll send a correction.

Thanks for your coments Pete. These were taken in October of 2007, on a day when we set out with rusksacks full of thermals and waterproofs, and spent all day peeling off the layers instead. I will happily accept your correction as these were put on this site before the current set of hi-res photos were put onto Google Earth, so they were all approximate at best.

I've just joined this site and these pics and comments are therefore out of date, however, I live in the Beacons and I am so pleased that others who are not fortunate enough to live here enjoy what I see every day.
