Un Camarguais

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

One from Camargue!

The Camargue is a natural region in southern France located inside the delta of the Rhone River and along the Mediterranean Sea. So this bull is from the Camargue, where it lives in semi-liberty. Its main feature is to have the horns pointing upwards (unlike Spanish bulls).

This one is a very small bull! I didn't risk anything, otherwise I would not go near it! Anyway, there was a fence!

Cheers, Bernard

Thank you! Normally I will soon go back in the Camargue, for other pictures! I have to go by car, and then browse through the Camargue by mountain biking! It is quite far from my house, because it is necessary to go north to cross the river Rhone... There is no bridge near the shore, along the sea...

Cheers, Bernard
