Thankyou Minnjohn for your very kind comments, for us the wilderness is our second home, we are more comfortable in remote surroundings than any where else. Our trips every year take us to familar favorite spots,(such as Killarney) but most of our trips are to explore new vistas as the horizon always beckons and with literally thousands of lakes and waterways a mere few hours away. Canoes are in my blood and I have been canoeing since early childhood and up north where trails become scarce, it's simply the easiest way to get through the wilderness. We have a great respect and appreciation for the wilderness and try to reflect this in our photos. Very happy you are glad to share experiences. Quetico is on my bucket list, but is unfortunately 1 1/2 days drive from our home in southern Ontario. Someday soon... Really enjoy your postings and always look forward to viewing your pics as your style is very similar and your photos are great representations of the true wilderness. Thankyou again and happy hiking, may there be many more wilderness trips and great memories. All the best and friendship from Canada. Sean
