Coffee Mill - Leinbrock Werke Ideal - circa 1960

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

I brought this coffee grinder from Vienna in 1978. Somehow the coffee tasted better, after I made an effort to grind it my self....

I used it a lot, but not lately.

LEINBROCK, in Gottleuba (Sachsen) Germany, made a lots of coffee griders. This one is probably not rare (1955-60?)- it sells on ebay for $49.99. I paid about $10.

This photo was in NPC competition Sept 2012, Mills -6 votes, rank 31.

I usually do not stage photos, but there is not water mill or wind mill in my neck of woods. This is probably the only Coffee grinder selected for G.E.!!!

Hallo Tom

Wir haben eine solche Kaffeemühle vor ca 15 Jahren geerbt. Und seit vier oder fünf Jahren verwenden wir sie wieder um die Bohnen für einen sehr guten Espresso oder Cappuccino zu mahlen.

sehr gut eingestellt!

Thanks, Konzepto.

Tom, just seen your comment.

I guess using the Place location helps to fool the reviewer...;-)

The Coffee Mill downtown is a Hungarian Restaurant, still a lot of 1956 emigrants go there to meet each other.

It will certainly last longer that all the modern electric ones! So, You made a good investment.

Is this your garden?

Tomros on November 29, 2012

Yes, this is my garden. This flower bush comes every year, and gets bigger every year. I did not plant it, the seed came from birds!
