Coffee Mill - Leinbrock Werke Ideal - circa 1960

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

I brought this coffee grinder from Vienna in 1978. Somehow the coffee tasted better, after I made an effort to grind it my self....

I used it a lot, but not lately.

LEINBROCK, in Gottleuba (Sachsen) Germany, made a lots of coffee griders. This one is probably not rare (1955-60?)- it sells on ebay for $49.99. I paid about $10.

This photo was in NPC competition Sept 2012, Mills -6 votes, rank 31.

I usually do not stage photos, but there is not water mill or wind mill in my neck of woods. This is probably the only Coffee grinder selected for G.E.!!!

Eine Kaffemühle zum selbermahlen ist wichtig, denn der Kaffe schmeckt dann besser

In Wien gekauft....was will man mehr!.Nicht verkaufen!!

Gut gesehen Tomas....like42+Fav......Grüße Det!

Now, I feel sooooo old.

BUT, There is nothing like old technology.

I bet your Iphone does not grind coffee, and will not be still working in 60 years.
