Tomb-stone Mountains on the Dempster Highway in the Yukon. The native people no longer have to hike for great distances to find caribou. They wait for them to cross the Dempster highway in vast herds, everyone is notified, then they harvest hundreds to take back to their villages by trucks and share them around. Consider 100 years ago, you didn't know where they were, you may not find any, you can only carry so much, and there were no grocery stores in the area.
