First time for me to see such a display in Australia. And it is good to have some unique subjects in our folios, Craig, eh?.

In Vanuatu, they do something very similar in traditional weddings, but the banner is a palm frond, to which are added colourful flowers on every rib of the fronds. The leafy ends are cut back to reveal the rib onto which the flowers are skewered. It is very attractive.

Cheers, Ian

PS: It looks like a great day to go flying, and you are on the beach! What choices we have to face!

Thank you Ian :) , I just missed the wedding, the party was walking back to the car park as i arrived, they had removed some sort of marques ,only the sails remained behind, unique subjects they were.

I don't fly much these days Ian,i am a nervous flyer,it doesn't pay to know too much about what can go wrong sometimes :),Cheers Craig
