Flower parade, Loenhout, Belgium

The Flower Parade is a procession of Loenhout ornate floats depicting imaginative and creative subjects. These vehicles consist of thousands of colorful flowers dahlias and are all built by the inhabitants of Loenhout. Creativity, celebration, solidarity and competition form the basis of the Corso. The creativity shown by the overwhelming floats knows no equal. Every year, new topics on an enchanting manner depicted. The Loenhout flowerparade is above all a huge feast. Street Entertainment, drum bands, flag wavers, extras, clowns, acrobats, beverage tents, children's water system and so provide an immense grand spectacle that is built around the beautiful flowers. The floats are the result of disinterested solidarity. Committed and dynamic people from 13 localities in Loenhout a whole summer working together to achieve a great result to come on the second Sunday of September. The competition provides an exciting touch to the event. A carefully selected jury proposes a ranking. The hamlet may have a winning year Corso Champion.
