Great piece of machinery - great fun to be had there. Regards Derek
Yes, Derek, the wind in your hair, the flies in your teeth. Some other snippets about Morgans: Based in Malvern, UK, started 1909, it's still an independent family-owned company (even Ferrari is owned by Fiat!); the cars are hand-built using traditional craftmanship and have wooden ash-frames and steel (aluminium) chasis'; there are only 50 dealers in the whole world; there are approx. 50,000 colours to choose from; production is approx. 15 per week - 640 cars were churned-out in 2007; the waiting-list is at least 1 year (to 10 years in some cases); the deposit to buy one is £1000 non-refundable; they cost from $44,000 for a base model to $300,000 top-end; they are affectionately called 'Moggies'.
Best wishes, Brian.
Good to hear from you again, Dietmar! You are clearly a connoisseur!
