Thank you Patrick yes it was and Kearny also had a Bicycle factory too. Kearny and Harrison were busy towns back in the day, from electronics, clothes, steel, toys, concrete, to the war effort the area has seen it all...

Thank you normand richard the old Factory got destroyed when I was very young. According to my parents and other residents of the town they remembered when the fire happened, the metal baseball bats from inside the factory were flying everywhere around the area of the inferno and smashing into nearby buildings..

Pretty cool that they left the smokestack standing, sad to think that all those things are produced overseas now, don't get me started on that one :)

I agree, I could start writing a long book on that subject... Lets start seeing more of Made in America, and Made in Canada never mind lets see that to be 100% USA and Canada... Just to close the subject, I recently heard its getting harder for shipping the goods made in China to here, due to new shipping costs thanks to the new price fuel...
