Ribblehead viaduct was designed by engineer, John Sydney Crossley.
The first stone was laid on 12 October 1870 and the last in 1874.
My dear Füsun,
What a superb picture of loco #44932 with 'The Waverley' crossing Ribblehead viaduct. The size of th elocomotive gives a great indication of the massive viaduct, and vast empty countryside.
This is spectacular - you should map it as well! Until then: YSL from a railroad enthusiast!
Una gran captura, un hermoso puente

Sorry my friend, i was not able to catch the voting time. I missed to be there. Classes have been ending and a lot of work made me too occupied. I will make it up next time.
Have a great day!
