Like busses - you never see the location then 2 come at once :)

A cracker as always - :) well worth getting up so early for - though I think that's why I like living out west - late evenings are better for my system than pre dawns :)

Yorkshire Sam on September 11, 2012

Two ? Trust me I was out and back in bed before I was even missed :o). You obviously need more beauty sleep than me ;o)

Cheers :o)

Rich uploaded from the same spot recently

You would definitely be right on that score ( needing more beauty sleep) all this frettin over f numbers, shutter speeds , exposure times is puttin years on me : o)

Not to mention I have exhausted all my Irish trump card locations :)

Yorkshire Sam on September 11, 2012

Rich as in Linrich ? his latest was from Staithes mate :o), this is Saltburn :o)

You're right about needing sleep ! ;o)

Probably the best one i've seen Sam it will have to go in my favourites, lovely colours L+F Regards Richard

Yorkshire Sam on September 11, 2012

I found it Dean, that's hardly two coming at once mate, the blooming bus has a couple of services and an MOT in that time :o)

Yorkshire Sam on September 11, 2012

Thanks Richard, it's uncanny that I should do this within a week or two of you given that I have avoided it for four years or more even when I lived in Saltburn. I tend to shy away from the shots that others do in favour of trying to find a new angle and yet I was drawn there today and very willingly too when I spotted the light conditions were too good to resist. Thank you for the lovely compliment.

regards, Sam :o)

Hi Sam. Really nice shot. The eye is really drawin into the photo then directly into the sunrise. Gorgeous. Regards, JT.

Hi Sam
Another really great photo (as always), Like. Do you suffer from Insomnia ? anyway it's getting darker again, so you might get some more sleep soon.
Regards, Wadders.

Sometimes you just have to surrender to what makes sense Ian and the interest shown from comments here and elsewhere suggests I was right to give in to it :o) Cheers mate !

Yorkshire Sam on September 13, 2012

Thanks JT yes I would have liked toi have has a sunburst on the horizon but sadly this looks due north so that isn't possible and if I'm honest would probably make it way too hard to capture anyway. best wishes, Sam

Wadders I an aware that it seems I am always awake but trust me I do get more hours in bed than I probably need , unless of course one thinks of beauty sleep in which case I ought to not get up at all ;o) many thanks ! :o)

Good grief - this is absolutely fabulous Sam

When a picture has almost as many favorites as likes it says a lot.

Great timing, composition and of course, post processing.

Yorkshire Sam on September 14, 2012

Cheers Jethro, the response has been better than I imagined it would be and your compliment adds to my delight, many thanks !
