Heidiho. Many thanks.
I had NO camera until a year ago. Then I was given the Nokia cameraphone which was a good one of its type.
Someone suggested I post on Panoramio only because I was sending a few photos to friends by e-mail (I am NOT technically-minded at all!) and using too much memory!
I am only a very poor English teacher. I can´t afford a camera. (I need to pay the rent and eat as a priority!)
When I dropped the Nokia cameraphone in a bog I was distraught! Then I found a cheap second hand Fuji Finepix J100 in a pawn shop but that turned out to have a smudge on the sensor which you can see in a few recent photos.
THEN, A fellow Panoramio member very, very kindly posted me a spare Canon Ixus 700 which he no longer needed. And so with this amazing piece of generosity, I will soon be taking photos with that. But I don´t have the internet for the moment in Madrid (this posting is from the locutorio), so I can´t yet download the Canon manual.
When I do, I will start using it!!
Sorry for the long answer but I have left a lot out even so!!
All best wishes, Andy
Glad you both like it. Best wishes, Andy
like+YSL... I can´t resist, too, Andy :)))))
Have a nice evening, see you soon,
Many thanks Dagmar.
2 days later I dropped this Nokia N95 phonecamera in the bog!
Many thanks for your visit, lovely comments and very generous awards. All very much appreciated.
Best wishes from Cornwall and Madrid,
It's a great pity! Your phone done very well photos! Some phones photographs better than expensive gadgetry, I have the opportunity to compare and my cell phone is as the winner :)) But my phon has two and a half years and I am afraid that I have to buy a new one. But while it working as a Swiss watch :)))
See you soon Andy..
Well I am quite pleased with the two digital cameras I am using now, but it took me a while to get used to them. And I do miss my old phonecamera! I hope you have a few more years on yours still to come!
Thanks for your sympathetic ear, Dagmar!
Best wishes, Andy
