We made it to the summit of Mt Liberty! Climbing all 178,249 carefully built and off-size steps! I was having a well deserved rest when this chopper that was thundering up the valley made a course change to come and wake me up!

  • That is a very cool photo!

  • You have to be fast to pull out your camera when you hear them coming.

It's good you wrote the description, J. Without it I'd have thought you are trying to tell us the truth about your climbing hobby... or forgot to clone the chopper out this time :)

Thank you Randy I saw him change direction - he was following the I-93 up the Franconia Gap when he must have spotted my Nikon in my hands and so changed direction over us. This was the best coz I got his tail light flashing!

Its the simple things for me........

I have NEVER been in one of these contraptions Sixten - and probably never will (if I have my choice).

Cheers chaps - Jethro

If it had been some old satellite crashing down to earth, you would be in the news and world famous now. Of course this does not mean you wouldn't be already :)
