Jethro can we get that wood stain over here in the UK?

All the best Peter

Oh.... don't get me going Peter

We live in a deliberately high maintenance society and the stuff we use is mostly useless and seriously over-priced. Its the old story ..... if we can put a man on the moon surely we can make a wood preserver that lasts more than 3 years!

Etc etc etc.

:o)

Its strange to see a new bridge like this.

Best wishes from New Hampshire - Jethro

Another Bridges of Madison County. Creosote is a good preservative for timber, indeed I use it as a cologne on special occasions.

lol Pete

You're right Mike

Peter what a great comment. We left creosote behind when we left Blighty and have never missed it at all. I just drink Guinness now instead!

Best wishes y'all - Jethro
