Born 1941 and brought up in Saltney and going to the Wood Memorial School and then Saltney Secondary Modern school I have many fond memories of Saltney. However one of the memories is that the sign in the photogragph 'Welcome to Wales' was about a hundred yards further up the road by the Anchor pub. Have the English pinched some of Wales, why was the sign moved, anyone know.
