looking west at the old terminals 1 & 2 parking. All the space in the world where it's not needed. Where it is needed is at the bottleneck outside terminal 3 arrivals. A crowd of people try to stand in a tiny area which is blocked up with lifts, ramps and escalators. The design of terminal 3 is Calatrava-ism at its worst - never mind the function, lets make it big and impressive then fit the functions in as best we can afterwards.
