Lovely pictures in this series of quilt pictures, it must be a tradition to show them in this fashion.

It's good to hear from you, Mike! As I told Daniela about another photo, this is a new tradition - starting about 10 years ago, though in much earlier years some barns had painted decorations. These "barn quilts" are based on traditional quilt patterns.

I suppose some of my Panoramio friends are getting tired of seeing them. But I am making a little project of photographing and posting photos of all the ones in this county. I've now photographed them all, and I'll post the rest soon. I'd like for them to be on Google Earth so people can see a bit of rural America.\
