Looking south, down Derwentwater. This was originally a slide, taken by myself c1980.
A picture like a poem, Herb, and then there are the fingers of God touching the lake.
You still know exactly were you were standing when you took the photo so many years ago?
I like your English landscape pictures, and also the pictures from Norway.
Please look at my pictures from near by the Artic Circle in North Norway.
Greetings from Einar.
Hello Herb, I like the almost lack of colour here and the shafts of light and the reflected light from the rough water nicely framed by the branches and a little of the lake shore. Very nice!
Magnificent nearly monochromatic shot.
It is all my favorite kind of fotomaking! GOLD for the PHOTOGRAPHER HIMSELF!
Claus, Einar, John and tvangroningen, firstly please accept my apologies if I have omitted to thank you previously for your comments and visits to this picture. Of course I am extremely happy that you did, and you liked it.
Feika, thank you for drawing my attention to this oldish picture on here and letting me see that I owe visitors a vote of thanks. A Gold for the author! Wow! - I am speechless. Yes, I was quite proud of this, even as I pushed down the shutter button. A particular - all time favourite for me.
Regards to you all and ciao, Herb
Hellow Herb again.
Another nice stormy photo. Not so good to be out in but those sort of conditions can make good photos.
All the best John.
Very nice photo Like and favorite
