Thank you, Rosina! The cathedral and the sun's reflection really made for a great composition. As for the snow shots, if only you could convey how cold Scotland is in photographs :-)

© Alan Knox on July 26, 2007

您好. 不錯 ,這是世界上最大的天主教教堂,在紐約市,也是最大的天主教教堂--北美.

I use a Nikon D50, I kept using my trusty film SLR right up until this year before I finally switched to digital. What do you use?

Really a nice shot of a typical scenery in Manhattan :) Yellow Cabs, People and modern buildings but between all these things an old fashioned church like St. Patrick. Typical NYC ;)

Thanks FSup! Yes, NYC definitely revels in the order of chaos! :-D

I like this one, old cathedral in modern city.

And I was wondering how come you can reply in Chinese?

© Alan Knox on May 17, 2008

Thank you Yen-Ting Lu, it was a beautiful cathedral. To reply in Chinese I use Google's translation service, found here:

Alan :-)

Ha! I got it. Thank you for sharing such many amazing pictures. I am a newer here.

請多多指教!! <- means....?

© Alan Knox on May 17, 2008

"Please a lot of advice!!" ? Thats what Google returned anyway :-)

Yen-Ting Lu on May 17, 2008

yeah, it is, but a bit seriousl. Actually, it's just a polite way to show humble when you first meet somebody.

I prefer translate it into "looking forward to getting any comments which must be stimulating and helpful to me". That's the real meaning I think.

Yen-Ting:)
