Herb, The pond was restored to its former glory by 'English Heritage' about 6 years ago.

Because of the unusual elevation of the Abbey, the old pond dried up and subsequently disappeared under a mass of weed and rubble.

Following re-excavation, a fresh layer of clay was used to seal the pond.

Only now, after many years, is it possible to capture the reflection so.
