See here for explanation of Red-bow. We were astonished. First it was raining again for the second time we had driven the I-84 from Scranton to Port Jarvis this year! Also as the bright red sun set behind us in the thin slit between a steely grey sky and mother Earth a rainbow formed ahead of us. The rainbow glowed with the red of the sunset like the vapor trail of a rocket launched ahead. I am not proud of this shot. I should have switched to A but we were traveling at 60+ MPH (100KPH) in wet weather (I was passenger) and I had seconds to react.
