When I saw my picture earlier on this evening I noticed it straight away, I very nearly took it off to redo the cropping but then got distracted. You could argue that you wanted more of that lovely colour that's in the diagonal that's at the lower left edge of the bridge ... Anyway, something I meant to say but didn't is that there's a nice, subtly-surprising contrast between all the hard angles of the bridge and the soft early-morning colour. I think that adds a lot to the impact.

Yes lots of snow, and some sunny days. Those are extraordinarily beautiful, yet I'll be willing to tear myself away from this cold beauty for a brief trip to the milder beauty of the U.S. Southwest three weeks from today!
