I have driven this road several times and have always found something new. The view of the forrest trees in the fall are beautifull to see. The Georgia state camp ground on the mountain is a good place to stay and spend cimfort time. It does get a bit windy at times and cool in the late fall and early winter, but it is a great place to visit.
