Good to hear from you again, Scally. Glad you like the golden sand. This beach is quite away from the minor road. Don't know whether I should mention this but those two 'things' are something to do with a small naval base further along the shore, see submarines quite often around here. The 'things' are beginning to irritate me; will get round to 'brushing' them out sometime.
