Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital (impression) proposed newbuild

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

The new hospital will be built in this area of two large fields with the arboretum remaining as a backdrop. I have done some research into refining the the site, speaking to local people and friends who pass this way, so thanks to Jethro Hoyt for waking me up!!

Looks great, Mike!

But I hope the architects don't get all the money that otherwise should have been used for healthcare. :-o

Greetings and best wishes,

PerO

hello Mike

it looks lovely and also kind of organic style building with all 'flowing' lines,

lovely photo and interesting to see , like it

warm greetings Karin

Thanks K@rin, what a considered comment!

It is a point of considerable argument among the local populace as to where it should be positioned but wherever it ends up it surely will be a busy place as we have quite a lot of through traffic that merges with a high amount of local traffic in and around this region - of course this leads to more accidents!

Hope it will not disturb my peace too much!!!

Hugs and good wishes

I think it is going to be a bit further north, just below the East Cramlington turn off (at least that is where they are doing junction improvements at the mo). It is certainly directly under the approach flight path for Newcastle Airport so those Air Ambulances will have to keep their eyes peeled!

Hi Keith, I was in a quandry to pin-point a mapping place, so I asked for assistance from commy puta it said the Chronicle reckons the row over the newbuild was wortg a spread on their heralded pages, so I looked on Google and found the information there, but as I never ga'an ower that way, or anywhere else! I went with the info aa hed!

I knew aboot the flight path, but the heliocpeters will cope with them (I thought) by approaching alang the A1 or A19, that's all lit up at neet and easy to follow durin' the day (if weather is bad they shouldn't be flying anyhoo!

Grand to see you, hope yer on sensible rota now

keepahaaad!
