Very nice to meet you Konstantin! This is actually the remains of the first church built in Cambridge Bay. At some point the community moved to the other side of the bay and they just abandoned the side this church is on. It had a wooden roof on up until about a decade ago and all that is left is the rocks. Have a great day! Tim

It is the remains of the first Catholic church in Cambridge Bay. The first church was St. Georges Anglican church built in 1927. It was closed in 1944 and reopened in 1955
