It was built for Arctic researchers?
My kindest regards to you from Russia, Kostia
Very nice to meet you Konstantin! This is actually the remains of the first church built in Cambridge Bay. At some point the community moved to the other side of the bay and they just abandoned the side this church is on. It had a wooden roof on up until about a decade ago and all that is left is the rocks.
Have a great day! Tim
And I'm very glad too! Thanks a lot for interesting info. Good night! See you soon, Kostia.
Great shot, the light and sky is very good. Glad you gave the info why this church was left to go to ruins. Sad! But I Like3 it
