Ah!!, I knew that I would find your comment eventually John. I say this because my typing/keyboard skill are so poor that my input far exceeds my output, then I completely loose the plot. The previous passage contained 17 miss-hits and that last word (miss -hits) was badly miss -hit three times, and had it not been for the spell check as I type, the text would have been hilariously unreadable. There are many permutations of the word miss-hit!!

You will not be disappointed with the climb John, weather permitting, there are so many wonderful, ever changing vistas, so that you can really take your time and lots of photos too. I hope that you can make it to Whitby.

Your kind appraisal is most rewarding John and I am grateful for your affirmation and Y* Please call again, its a pleasure to chat with you. Take care.---Jim

Jim, Thanks for your reply. I just had to revisit this shot. Difficult to say why but it is perhaps my top favourite of all on the site. I certainly will try to get there one day.

Cheers, John

Jim Will You Do Me A Favour, Will You Run Up And Count Them Again I Climbed Up Last Week And There Was Only 198? I Think Somebody Has Pinched one. WOW So Thats What It Looks Like At The Top. linrich

Linrich ~~~

I usually stop here for a few minutes and watch the youngsters climb up, counting loudly as they go....

I pass the day by saying "you've missed one" or "Nah!! its number so and so "

You can guess the result--- howls of laughter from their parents..One kid did cry though and I felt rotten!

Hi Jim nice to see you back, we all have missed you..Linrich
