Lavenham in pastels

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Lavenham in Suffolk, England, certainly one of our most historic villages. Indeed in all my travels of the British Isles, I have never seen so many genuine medieval (circa 15c) houses and buildings. A wonderful village that depletes even the largest camera memories of today. In the medieval period it was among the 20 wealthiest settlements in England. A village that deserves more photo's from me on here perhaps. Enjoy this rather artful view which I think was of a portion of 'Water Street'?
