Remarkable 'riting running riotously and randomly Nick.

I have to say that it often rains without a rainbow, unless one has a sunny disposition like you! ;-)

Je sais que vous savez que cet arc en ciel est un tricheur Christian - mais je suis ravie que vous l'avez vu.

Amitiés, Amelia

Dear Leo, I'm, pleased that you liked the title as well as the photo. I think I should have kept quiet about the fireman's hose though! :-)

Friendly wishes to you from across 'the pond', Amelia

Bonnie wee Lass< I have a lot of dificulty believing what I see and never believe what I read on here, it pays to keep an open mind though!!

Man-made rainbows? Pity you didn't have a jar handy Amelia to catch it in. Love the title! :)

Amelia Royan on October 5, 2012

I did have a jar - and caught it Billy. Just waiting for a nice day to come along then I can set it free. ;-)

Lovely thought Amelia. :)

Es ist faszinierend zu sehen, wie das Grün rechts des Regenbogens so deutlich kräftiger erscheint als links. YSL und ganz herzlichen Gruß, Karl

Amelia Royan on October 11, 2012

I think that this could be because the rainbow was made by firemen and the the hose water was not going high Karl. But who knows?

Thank you so much for the Y* for this one. If it was one of Nature's own rainbows it might have been worthy. ;-)

Freundliche Grüße, Amelia

Many thanks for your long visit Lizab. I am delighted that you liked this rainbow.

Looking pretty cool Amelia, who cares how it got there?! :)

Cheers, Tomas

Amelia Royan on October 18, 2012

Hi there Tomas, I wish now I had not said a word about firemen's hoses, but I would have been found out. I was with my Norwegian 'guide', and he would have 'blown the gaff'!

Magical, mystical did you now light refracts off water by 42 degrees to form a rainbow!

If you might have any doubts whatsoever ask Google this question: The answer to life the universe and everything

Guess how old I will be next year?

I guess it will be   x + 1
;-)

Erik van den Ham on November 4, 2012

Well you don't need a Polygraph to check if that is true...... or one could say XO which is a good thing if you're a cognac!

Poly's equation seems OK to the uneducated eye, bur is far too simplistic.

Using the following equation,

and taking into account the generally accepted, but as yet unproven, theory that age increases exponentially with time, would I be correct in assuming that you will be 42 next year Erik?

If I am wrong, I'll try again when my brain engages on a working day! ;-)

Erik van den Ham on November 4, 2012

I couldn't agree more glad you did the math! I'm glad it didn't take you 7.5 million years to calculate that!

They are just living in my head

And since I fell for that spell

I am living there as well
