Leixlip Castle Boathouse

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Built at the confluence of the River Liffey and the Rye river the boat house which was Built c. 1740, is now high and dry since the removal of the weir and the building of the dam (which can just be seen in the background), it still has the ring to which the boat was attached.
