This is a very beautiful and interesting place!

I like that.

Best regards from Hungary Gyöngyi.

Thank you Kevin its quite old and taken with that old Sony PoC I had. Its amazing what a new bit of software and a dram of encouragement will do.

Thank you very much Gyöngyi

Best wishes to you both. Off to the hills - Jethro

It really is beautiful, Jedro. Keep diggin' through those archives, mate ... I bet you'll find a few more gems 'fore its over.

It's sort of fairy tale like. Does yon maiden hang her hair out of the top turret for the keeper of the light to climb up.

David Brown Photogra… on October 8, 2012

Nice one Mike

Thank you Nik

I'm a diggin' Kevin

I dunno KC it was such a long time ago I cannot remember - we only stayed in the area a few hours!

Many thanks to you all, my friends, its great to know that this bit of archive dredging was worth while.

And this is a Lighthouse for you, my friend in SC. Regards from Germany. Harry.

Sixten Imgs on October 14, 2012

Beautifully built collection of details and elements, Jethro. I'm glad the camera and the photographer survived the wreck, let's hope the kayak's fine too...

Hi Jethro

Is the Bass on draught?

Good Health Peter!

David Brown Photogra… on October 16, 2012

Thank you Harry a red strip also!

We were there while the storm raged in the Gulf of Mexico Ian (Katrina, I think) consequently our trip home cost double the drive up there!

Thank you Sixten the zoomer will notice the grass is denoised too much which turns out to be the only casualty in this old noisy photograph.

Cheers Peter - my favorite American request - draft Bass in a warm glass

Many thanks my friends - Jethro

A stunning location and well shot, Jethro. Just goes to show - it's the photographer not the camera!

David Brown Photogra… on October 19, 2012

Hmmmmmm..... I'm thinking that these days its the software. This would be nothing without Lightroom. I took this when I didn't understand digital noise.

Its denoised (rather obviously too) and cropped in the inner halls of the sacred temple of LR.

BUT... I thanks you for your complement. I did have the presence of mind (on this occasion) to scramble down to where I knew there was a good composition.

Many thanks ol' chum - Jethro

Wow, Jethro; that's post-card quality! I'm really liking this one enough to give it a YS. Very well done!
