I just checked Jenper the story of the Tower. Is the same with the one in my place. In my hometown we call it Vigla, meaning the place from where they were watching for the pirate ships to prepare i case of attack. Actually this one was built during the 15th century and was there to protect the Mountain Athos Monasteries.
