Wow, we have only seen one of these at the zoo in Washington DC. These are very interesting birds.

They are very interesting Gene. Not quite the hunter owls are, with weaker claws and a different wide bill. They seem to swallow their prey whole. No trouble swallowing a mouse whole. They are very engaging birds in captivity.
