Palmina Moore on February 23, 2008

Gorgeous!!! how perfect is this bird?

Ian Stehbens on February 23, 2008

I am glad that I uploaded these images of some special birds. Thankyou Palmina, Craig and Justin. They certainly are most colourful creatures.

He hails from South and Central America but he wows the tourists in Bali, where he is free to fly to El Salvador, but as he has bonded to his keepers he stays to be the centre of attention!

Oh that's a beautiful shot, Ian. I really love your birds; you always capture them in a right moment:)

Greetings, Inessa

Ian Stehbens on February 23, 2008

Oh Inessa, I know you do..and you love a lot of other nice things too. I positioned with the fern behind him, and waited for him to forget that there was a camera pointed in his direction. It helps to have a longer lens. Appreciatively, Ian

Una perla della natura

Ian Stehbens on February 24, 2008

Thank you Pier Luigi. It is a brilliant creature alright, dressed in complementary clours, and of course the footwear must be cleaned to look just right.

An excellent shot of this beautiful bird Ian ,very well done.

Greetings Arthur

Ian Stehbens on February 25, 2008

Dear Eva,

I am delighted that he is wearing Ukraine's blue and gold. I hadn't thought about your national colours before, but now I will remember. Your stunning images of Kievs' spectacular cathedrals adorned in gold against an azure sky should have told me that!

Thankyou for gently teaching me so much about the Land through which the Dnepr flows.

Ian Stehbens on February 25, 2008

Thankyou Arthur for exchanging affirmations. I do enjoy soaking in your photography, and so I am pleased to present images that you enjoy, too.

Kind regards from Australia (the land of parrots)...and Bali, where this Macaw met me.

Ian Stehbens on February 27, 2008

I am sure God gave him an ESFJ temperament, too! And thanks for the special affirmations Gay.
