Amelia Royan on October 12, 2012

Many thanks Richard. It was easier to get photos on Rydal Water as it runs east/west, whereas Grasmere runs north/south - as you know! ;-)

Cheers, Amelia

This is my favourite of the new 'uns, Amelia. Perfect composition, light and colours.

This is also a wonderful composition, Amelia! You are the master of reflections! They are just perfect and the landscape is very beautiful too! LIKE! Best wishes, Anne

Thank you dear Leo. The English lake District may be small but it is perfectly formed! A photographer's paradise really. Thank you for the Y*, and have a great weekend.

Warm wishes, Amelia

I think this is my favourite too Keith, but it was difficult to get a photo that didn't show any traffic on the A591. A red car got into the scene! ;-)

Cheers, Amelia

Thank you dear Anne, especially for the Y*. Most folks visit the larger lakes such as Windermere when they visit the Lake District, and consequently miss the charms of the smaller ones - I'm glad to say. ;-)

Warm wishes, Amelia

Je suis très heureux que vous avez aimé ce lac miroir Christian. Je recommande une visite à la "Lake District" si vous visitez l'Angleterre.

Amitiés, Amelia

it's already done Amelia - the biggest issue for me is not to have enough time ';-)

Tranquil water, just the place to sit and watch the world go by, while whispering sweet nothings to your partner

Amelia Royan on October 13, 2012

We did meet 4 other folks on this walk Bonnie Lad, but were careful not to let them overhear our conversations. ;-)

And of course there was a kissing gate to get through as well. All very romantic!

Hi Amelia,

I must say this is a really nice composition with those big rocks in the foreground, which I like very much. I suppose your Nowegian visits give you a lot of practice on lakes, hence your mastery of this lake and its reflections!

Best Wishes Peter
