Beautiful and very peaceful location Like

These last few sunny shots of your,s from this area, makes me sad Amelia, I spent a week down here mostly in miserable weather :-( Does the Sun really shine on the Righteous ? LOL cheers scally.

All the sweet nothings I heard were something like, "Come on - we haven't got all day."

Occasionally Adrian gets a bit impatient. ;-)

Dean Matthews on October 16, 2012

Haha - I get you there :) - or - "are you taking more pictures?" :o)

Amelia Royan on October 16, 2012

Hi there Peter, and thank you for that lovely compliment. We were so lucky with the weather in the Lake District, and this walk is fairly easy, although we did a bit of a climb at Grasmere.

Warm wishes, Amelia

Amelia Royan on October 16, 2012

I'm delighted to read your compliment Al. I have to say that anyone with a camera here would have been able to get this photo, but thank you!

Greetings, Amelia

It was peaceful Haggs, though I'm sure it's very busy in the height of the tourist season. The weather was perfect!

Amelia Royan on October 16, 2012

I think the sun shines on the unjust as well - it just depends on the day Scally. I'll leave you a little quote to think about:

Rain is caused

by high-pressure areas,

cold fronts, warm, moist air

and weekends. LOL

Cheers, Amelia

The things that we amateur photographers have to go through Dean. ;-)

Harry Taggart on October 16, 2012

There is one important one you missed Amelia, exposing my golf bag to the elements :=(, but that might only work for me. Cheers scally.

Sarah O on October 17, 2012

wow..Dear Amelia YSL for this awesome, peaceful quiet place.. I wish I were right there! What a lovely job you did with this capture!!

daydreaming wishes! :) ~~Sarah~~

Amelia Royan on October 17, 2012

OK Scally, I'll factor the exposure of your golf bag into the equation! I'm sure it affects everyone. ;-)

Amelia Royan on October 18, 2012

Thank you so much dear Sarah, I'm so pleased that this photo is safe with you. The Lake District in England is very beautiful on a miniature scale, and Rydal Water is one of the smaller lakes; but I liked the intimacy. :))

Warm hugs, Amelia

Karl Hartwig on October 26, 2012

The colours, the reflections, the shadows: I love it! YSL and best regards, Karl

Amelia Royan on October 26, 2012

Thank you Karl. I am having a lot of difficulties with Panoramio at the moment. I know that it has been down for 48 hours, but now I keep getting a server error, and find it difficult to reply to comments.

Warm wishes from Norway, Amelia

Pete Taylor on October 26, 2012

Superb colour, composition and contrast in this idyllic lake shot Amelia, looks like you were lucky with the weather for your visit. Our week was mostly a bit grey this year. Like from me.

Best regards

Ahmet Bekir on October 29, 2012

Excellent image and nice place Amelia, ...liked , greetings from Macedonia, Ahmet

Amelia Royan on October 30, 2012

Thank you dear Ahmet. Although the size of this corner of England is relatively small in global terms, it is delightful to visit.

Greetings to Skopje, Amelia

Amelia Royan on October 30, 2012

Hi there Pete, many thanks for that lovely compliment. Yes we were very lucky with the Cumbrian weather, but, if there is no wind, I'm positive that one could get even better photos in dull and rainy weather. Some of my best photos are taken in just those conditions. ;-)

Warm wishes, Amelia
