Thanks Larry, not a painting, just eroded sandstone. It was the most interesting part of a bigger photo. The pointy mountains in the foreground are about four feet tall. - The other scene at the Grand Canyon was kind of a surprise as I turned off the Rim Drive to go to an overlook. Snowmelt water was stained dark brown from all the leaves on the ground. Not exactly on the Rim.
