2012 Bay to Birdwood Run

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps [?]

The Bay to Birdwood Run is for vehicles (cars, trucks and motorcycles) built before 31 December 1955. The Run starts at Barratt Reserve, West Beach, goes through Glenelg (The Bay) and on a 70Km drive across Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills to The National Motor Museum at Birdwood. "The Run is the largest and most continually staged historic motoring event held anywhere in the word". There are normally about 1500 vehicles taking part in the event. The "Run" is held every second year (Even numbered years) on the last Sunday in September. On the odd numbered years the "Bay to Birdwood Classic" is held, which is for vehicles built between January 1956 and December 1977.
