Splendid image, Ian ! i love spiders because they kill mosquitos ;o) Annick

Ian Stehbens on February 24, 2008

Dear Annick and Pier Luigi,

I am pleased you both like the image. Thanks.

Since investigating my garden with a macro lens, I have found all sorts of things and behaviours out there that I didn't know before - and this fellow is one of them. I didn't know we had green spiders around at all. And I found several other species, both male and female, that are knew to me.

I am pleased to be sharing my new world discovered by macro.

They don't just kill the mosquitoes, Annick, they torture them then they eat them. How horrible is that! ;o))

Terrible and wonderful, insidious and enticing, and just little spider which Jan looked over through the camera! Best regards. Eva

Eva,

Your English is wonderful and your willingness to compose poetry in your 3rd(?) language is courageous indeed. And it is appreciated. Very much. And I glad you just like a little spider, well at least a little bit.

My great-hearted friend, Yan! Forgive me for a carelessness, but your Ukrainian familiar must change glasses on more strong. Besides it will be better visible the shallow details of your magnificent pictures! Best wishes. Eva

Ian Stehbens on February 27, 2008

My dear Eva,

Such a tiny mistake is just another special thing to enjoy - I like being given distinctive names by a special friend. You do not need glasses only a flower. And you have picked your special one, I see. Keep it dear Eva, keep it.

And thank you for the Yellow star.

Thank you for teaching me another word or expression in the language of the next generation, Daniel. It is an eye-opening image that this little spider has given us.
