Well its about time. I was beginning to wonder if you had your camera! Beautiful stitch here. Very nicely done! I'm wondering if I shouldn't have begun my vacation next week instead of the week after next ... hopefully I'll still have some color left!
Upon zooming in, one can see that the Lonesome Pine has now got some pals of silimar stature, so no longer or lonesome eh?
Autmnal colours on the turn, luckily these woodlands didnae burn!
Nice one Jethro, and so are you!
Wow! Look at them trees! Colors are just starting to come about here, camera is expected back in another week I hope I don't miss it!
Thank you Kevin - its been an interesting time of adjustment for me, so apologies for the air-gaps in my postings.
The colours were only just turning at sensible altitudes (3,000ft) when we left today. Down at lower levels they will be changing early November I think.
Mike all the lonesome pines are dead now due to acid rain (from the meth factories in Tennessee I should think).
Many thanks for all your lovely comments my friend.
Where is your camera Ken? You probably told me but I'm forgetting.... errr... forgetting.....something anyway.
Many thanks y'all - Jethro
The ole girl is in the hospital gettin her eye fixed. Damned thing just got all blurry on us, kinda like seeing tunnel vision, clear in the center and fuzzy round the edges! VR system was bad.
Oh noooooo.... that's not good.
Get well soon Ken
That extended warranty I bought, it requires you to send the whole thing in, camera and lens, even though it's clearly just the lens. Anyhow, thanks for the wishes. Tchau!
A magical photo....somehow it reminds me of the shots that show the ocean's surface and all that is under it. I know it is not the same but the same feel. YSL!
I know just what you mean Joy thank you!
I am always amazed by the spectacle of the trees the color and the sky and always try to capture it.
I will probably never be satisfied - Jethro

I am loving LR Neil especially with a bit of help from fellow Panaromaniacs when I need it.
