These pictures were taken at Bratton Camp next to the Westbury White Horse. It is the site of an Iron Age Hillfort, very high above the Wiltshire countryside, a favourite place for paragliding enthusiasts.
Beautiful photography !!! LIKE Greetings Thanasis.
Thank you very much Thanasis.
Were you tempted? :)
The drop here looks gentle enough - the only thing that would bother me here is I am not used to that much traffic in the air :) I dont think there are this many paragliders in the whole of Ireleand - let alone all in one place at the same time :0)
adding a big YS to this one - fabulous series Rosa, You have really captured the esscence of a days flying
Thank you for coming back with the big YS Dean :-D
The only thing that I was tempted to do was take more photo's! I'm a bit too old for this now! I'm not good with heights but I love watching. It's a lot steeper on that side than it looks...I didn't go too near the edge!
If only I could roll back a few years and stone. Great series Rosa.
Go on KC, shed a few lb and have a go...I will take the pictures! Glad you like the series.
Precisely Ian ;o))
Wonderful frame & series, Rosa! Like
Best wishes, Marlene

Thank you Richard. I have never seen so many in one place!
Hello dear Renata, I was only thinking of you this week! So nice to see you back on Panoramio! Thank you for your visit :-D
very spectacular and wonderful view, like!
Many thanks Annelies. I am pleased you like it.
Lovely shot of that red wing and the sprawling countryside below and beyond! I still have a hankering to give this para-gliding a go. You too? There are lots of clubs. Second-hand parachute not that expensive, approx. £500 I've heard. Carried around on the back like a ruksack and light of course. The learning is the difficult bit - landing in cow-pats, trudging back up the hill.....
Best wishes, Brian.
After my two experiences on the Isle of Wight, I think my feet will stay firmly on the ground Brian...but I am impressed that you have a hankering to do it. They landed back on the hill, so don't worry about trudging back up ;-)) Just let me know and I will take the pictures ;o)
All the best, Rosa.
Thank you Chel. I really enjoyed watching them...just watching. Greetings, Rosa.
