Mount Monadnock is possibly the second most climbed mountain in the world, after Mt. Fuji. Very accessible, moderately challenging, with spectacular views. On clear days, you may be able to see Mt. Washington--site of the world's worst recorded weather--105 miles (168 km) north, in the heart of the white mountains. Lots more at Hiking Trails on Mt. Monadnock.
